Role of Branding in our Daily Lives!!

Have you ever thought about how branding impacts our daily lives?

No, I am not kidding. Think about it. We all want to make a good relationship with our neighbors, our Kirana store owner, our friends, and our colleagues.

Have you ever thought about the reason behind this? People treat us the way we act. This is what branding is all about.

Let us take an example; you go to your Kirana store every day. You treat the owner well. You have a good relationship with him, and therefore he will not hesitate to give you discounts sometimes. There are two reasons for this.

Your relationship with him is good, and he trusts you. You are his regular customer, and he doesn’t want to lose you to his competitors.

Doesn’t that sound like branding?

When you sell something and want people to come and buy things from only you, what do you do?

You engage with them; you try to know their problems and try to help them. You give them discounts and offers so that they come back to you. You make them believe that they are your priority and that they can trust you.

Get this, human psychology is very same to the business strategies, especially when it comes to marketing and branding.

After all, it is a human connection.

In today’s article, I am going to share some points which prove that branding and marketing are very much connected with human nature.

1. People love to talk about themselves.

Everyone is obsessed with themselves. They want to talk about them all the time, and in my opinion, it is quite easy for you.

Let me tell you how, when you want to network with your TG, you want to know about them. What they do and how they do and everything about them. Now, what is the better way than by listening to them?

There is one rule of networking that everyone should remember: Shut up! Listen and Take notes.

2. People hate being sold to.

You cannot sell your product to someone you are selling it. You can only sell your products/services if you tell them why they need it.

Do not get confused. The key to great marketing is asking: “How does your product make your ideal customer’s life better?”

Do not show them how great you and your products/services are. Show them how your products/services can help them.

3. People are attracted to attractive.

People will not buy from you if they do not like it no matter how profitable your products are. It is inherent human nature to come closer to things that have sensory and visual appeal. You must have heard the saying, ‘don’t judge a book by a cover?

Well, that is wrong! High time now that you work on the covers of your communication elements and messaging and make each one of them – attractive. Attractive is what appeals and shouts out your brand -aloud as well.

All I want to say is that allowing for human nature is a crucial element of your awesome branding and marketing strategy.
