You’re going the wrong way!!

When people think about branding, they think that it is something very complicated and elusive process. They might also think that it is

  • Time-consuming
  • Expensive 
  • Simply out of reach

Most people make the mistake of thinking just that. Well, you couldn’t be more wrong. Building your brand is something that will make you shine in front of your customers. If you want to turn your first-time buyers into lifetime customers, you’ll need the power of branding. In other words, branding is what your business needs to succeed. But if there are still many questions in your mind regarding branding, here’s a guide to help you through.

1. Your brand is not about “YOU.”

If you are creating a brand, then the reason behind it is that you want to sell goods/services to a specific group of people, and that is why you don’t want a brand an identity that feels disconnected from its purpose. If you make the whole branding process about “YOU,” then you will end up with the same. 

If you want to debunk this myth, then simply put more emphasis on your customers throughout the branding process. Ask yourself questions like, “what type of experience do we want to provide our customers?” and “how do we want our customers to perceive us?” is a good step in the right direction.

2. We don’t need branding – just yet.

There are many companies out there. Even if you are running a successful business, still attending any branding workshop will only enhance your business. If you are having some tough time within your business, branding will always come to your rescue. Even the companies with a good brand name come up with ideas to re-brand themselves. 

Just because you’re successful today, doesn’t mean you’ll be successful tomorrow. So make sure you’re doing everything you can, to solidify your brand identity and connecting with customers is key.

3. A brand is all about the LOGO.

People have this misconception ever since the whole branding thing came to the scene. They think that having a good logo and a good name is branding. Choose a perfect logo and a name for your firm, and you are done!

Well, branding is so much more than a logo. It’s about how people look at you in the market. How’s your company experience been? How do you treat your customers and your employees? Whether you give to your customer what you’d promised them? All of this goes to create your brand.

4. Branding is an expensive, time-consuming process.

Well, at some point, I may agree with this. Branding is an expensive and time-consuming process, but it doesn’t always have to be. There’s always another way to do it.

So, if you don’t have time or money to waste, cut through the fancy waffling and do some solid work on your own. A great start will be by taking the help of an experienced hand. They will help you and guide you through the whole process.
